
On the PlayStation Store, the section of the page that would typically feature a release date simply displays the word, “Announced”. On Steam, Suicide Squad is listed with a vague 2023 release date. Release dateĭespite the game’s announcement and follow-up trailers boldly proclaiming a 2022 release window, Rocksteady announced earlier this year that it had made the “difficult decision” to push the game to 2023.

There is nothing else it could be.Īs we head into Summer Game Fest and all the various Not-E3 summer events, we decided to check in on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and outline everything we know about the game ahead of its 2023 release.

The full game is playable online or solo, with players allowed to freely jump between characters whenever they want. In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a multiplayer third-person shooter, players will be able to play alone or with up to three people, with bots filling in the squad if you play alone. After a battle with Brainiac’s minions, the team has a run-in with Superman, who is being mind-controlled by Brainiac, revealed as the Alpha Target.

The first trailer depicts Brainiac attacking Metropolis and the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot (not the first, who is featured in previous Arkham games), and King Shark being sent to investigate and kill the “Alpha Target”. The game is set in the universe already established by the Batman: Arkham series.
